Level: Easy (You have un-restricted internet access)
Type: local client
Solution: Use Putty (SSH client) with M$ Windows
Get the latest executable: putty.exe
SSHD listens on the following ports: 22 (default), 23, 5000, 2222 and 8080
Hostname: nic-nac-project.de, freeshell.de
Level: Medium (you have un-restricted access but can't install applications)
Type: JAVA applet login
Are you browsing from a public computer and can't install local applications?
Solution: Login with the JAVA SSH client
Level: Hard (You have restricted access and/or proxy surfing only)
If you only can surf via proxy and nothing else please
a) get the putty ssh client for windows
b) click "Proxy"
c) enter the credentials of your local proxy (IP+Port)
d) and use the following host-data to connect:
Hostname: proxy.nic-nac-project.de
SSH-Port(!): 443
This will work fine because your proxy doesn't know that the actual
content is ssh and not your home-banking that flows via Port 443 now :)
